Our Story
Grokstar was born from a deeply personal journey. Growing up without the means to attend college, I was given a technical school opportunity by my parents—a gift that would change everything. In that moment, I discovered a profound truth: with knowledge, you can become whatever you want to be.
Moving to San Francisco opened my eyes to how knowledge is applied everywhere and how smart, lifelong learners were building the future. This inspired my own transformation from retail shoe sales to PC technician, then systems engineer, DevOps engineer, and finally software architect—all through deliberate learning techniques and an unshakeable belief in the power of knowledge.
Now, as we enter the age of AI where the world becomes increasingly tech-driven, science-based, and abstract, these learning skills matter more than ever. Understanding how to extract value from AI tools and assistants isn't just an advantage—it's essential. But first, you need to know how to learn anything effectively.
That's why I created Grokstar: to share the learning process that transformed my life with everyone who believes they can become more than their circumstances suggest. Because when you master the art of learning, you unlock unlimited potential in an unlimited world.
